KUCCPS Re-opens Application Portal for KMTC Courses 2026.
The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has reopened its portal for students seeking placement into medical courses at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the March 2026 intake.
KUCCPS on Tuesday, March 3, invited Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates who scored Grade D and above to apply for various diploma and certificate courses.
The placement body announced that a total of 31 medical courses under the health sciences cluster were available across different KMTC campuses countrywide.
According to the notice, the application targets students who were not placed during the January 2026 intake, as well as those applying for the first time.
“This application targets Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) holders who have not been placed at KMTC, including those who applied in January 2026 but were not placed,” KUCCPS announced.
KUCCPS said the move is aimed at expanding access to medical training and addressing the growing demand for healthcare professionals.
Some of the programmes available at diploma level include Clinical Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Nursing-related fields, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiography and Imaging.
Others are Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthopaedic Technology, Community Health, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Health Records and Information Technology.
Certificate courses on offer include Community Health Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Nutrition and Dietetics, Public Health, Health Records and Information Technology.
